UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Recruitment Notification Released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) (UPSC CAPF 2020) Examination 2020. This recruitment drive aims to fill 159 posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) across various Central Armed Police Forces.

Post Distribution

  • Border Security Force (BSF): 35 Posts
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): 36 Posts
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 67 Posts
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP): 20 Posts
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB): 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Alternatively, degrees from educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or deemed universities under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 are acceptable.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 20 and 25 years old as of 1st August 2021. This means you should have been born between 2nd August 1996 and 1st August 2001.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only). Female candidates, SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made through State Bank of India branches or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking of SBI.

Selection Process

The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Written Examination, Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, Medical Standards Tests, and Interview/Personality Test.
