SJVN Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2015
Satluji Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh, has announced a recruitment drive for Technician Apprentice positions. The selected candidates will undergo one year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 at Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station and Rampur Hydro Power Station.

Educational Qualifications
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice – 20 Posts
- Disciplines: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication
- Qualification: Full-time diploma in Engineering from AICTE-recognized Institute/University
Technician (ITI) Apprentice – 40 Posts
- Trades: Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Electronics Mechanics, Information Communications Technology, Technician (Power Electronics Systems), Wireman, Rigger
- Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass with two years ITI course in relevant trade
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Stipend Details
Diploma Holders: Rs. 8,000/- per month
ITI Holders: Rs. 5,000/- per month
Selection Process
No interview will be conducted. Shortlisted candidates will be selected based on merit list formed from marks secured in Matriculation (10th) and ITI Course/Diploma examinations.
