Here’s what UPSC is offering this year:
- Air Safety Officer (Engineering): 3 positions
- Qualification: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering OR associate membership of Aeronautical Society of India
- Age limit: 35 years
- Assistant Director of Census Operation: 42 positions
- Qualification: Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Anthropology, Sociology, or Demography
- Age limit: 35 years
- Assistant Director (Cipher): 1 position
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Mathematics
- Age limit: 40 years
- Extra Assistant Directors: 9 positions
- Qualification: Degree in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering OR Master’s in Physics with Wireless/Electronics
- Age limit: 30 years
- Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi Branch): 1 position
- Qualification: LLM from recognized university
- Age limit: 55 years
- Assistant Director, Grade-I (Costing): 1 position
- Qualification: Associate membership of ICAI or ICWAI
- Age limit: 35 years
- Scientists ‘B’ (Civil Engineering): 16 positions
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- Age limit: 35 years
Application Fee Details
The application fee is Rs. 25 only. You can pay through SBI branches, net banking, or credit/debit cards. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates don’t need to pay anything. OBC male candidates must pay the full fee – no exemptions available. Remember, applications without fee won’t be considered.
Selection Process
The selection process varies by position. For interviews, you need minimum marks: UR-50, OBC-45, SC/ST/PH-40 out of 100. If there’s a recruitment test followed by interview, you must clear both stages. The minimum marks for the test will be decided case by case.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online at http://www.upsconline.nic.in. No other mode will be accepted. Upload your educational and experience documents in a single PDF file (max 2MB). Make sure everything is legible when printed. Scan experience certificates at 200 dpi grayscale. Avoid uploading pay slips, resumes, or unsigned certificates.
