Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold an Engineering degree from a University incorporated by Central or State Legislature in India, or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India)
- Hold an Engineering degree/diploma from a foreign University/College/Institution recognized by the Government
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)
- Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959
Note: Candidates for Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Gr ‘A’ may possess an M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
Age Limit
21 to 30 years (as on 01/01/2016 – born not earlier than 2nd January, 1986 and not later than 1st January, 1995)
Application Fee
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH who are exempted) need to pay Rs.200 (Rupees Two hundred only) by depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash or using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore, or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
