Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced recruitment for Assistant Engineer (Grade-I) and Junior Analyst (Technical) posts across various government departments. Here are all the essential details about this recruitment drive.

  • Total Posts: 15
  • Assistant Engineer (Grade-I): 10 posts
  • Junior Analyst (Technical): 5 posts

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Assistant Engineer (Grade-I): Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or Engineering Degree in Mining or Mechanical or Drilling from a recognized University.
    • Junior Analyst (Technical): Master’s Degree in Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. (Note: Since the Department doesn’t have the list of equivalent subjects, it may be treated as NIL).
  • Age Limit: 30 Years
  • Application Fee: Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only. Payment can be made by cash at any SBI branch, net banking, or using Visa/Master credit/debit card.

Selection Process

  • The minimum suitability marks for interviews are: UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks out of 100 total interview marks.
  • For candidates selected through Recruitment Test followed by interview, minimum suitability must be achieved in both stages. The minimum level for Recruitment Test will be decided by the Commission on a case-to-case basis.
