Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Citizenship:
- Applicants must be an Indian citizen or satisfy the nationality criteria specified under Rule-7 of the Gujarat Civil Services (General) Rules, 1967.
Qualification:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Board or possess equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government
- AND a minimum one year Health Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma course from educational institute recognised as such by the Government
- OR minimum one year certificate course of Health Sanitary Inspector’s from Industrial Training institute or educational institute recognised as such by the Government
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Age Limit:
- Candidates applying for the GSSSB Sanitary Inspector recruitment must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of 31/08/2026.

Part-B:
- Questions Related to the Concerned Subject and Its Utility/Application: 120 Marks
Exam Details
- Total Questions & Marks: 210 Questions / 210 Marks
- Negative Marking: One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Qualifying Standard: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks separately in both Part-A and Part-B to qualify.
