UPSC NDA & NA (I) Exam 2026: Notification Released for 394 Posts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the NDA & NA (I) Exam 2026 notification. This announcement opens doors for 394 vacancies across the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. The notification was made public on 10th December 2025, inviting applications from unmarried male and female candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- Citizens of India
- Subjects of Bhutan
- Subjects of Nepal
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 for permanent settlement
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India
Educational Qualification
- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or University
- Candidates appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern can also apply
Age Limit
- Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 01st July 2007 and not later than 01st July 2010 are eligible
Application Fee
- Application fee: ₹100/- for all candidates
- SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from fee payment
- Payment can be made through Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or internet banking of any bank
Selection Process
Candidates for Army/Navy/Naval Academy and Air Force must secure minimum qualifying marks separately in:
- Written examination (total 900 marks) as fixed by UPSC at their discretion
- Officer Potentiality Test (total 900 marks) as fixed by the Services Selection Board at their discretion

- Once done, click on submit and login to the page
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee
