- Geologist: Master’s degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science and Resource Management, Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies, Petroleum Geo-science, Petroleum Exploration, Geochemistry, Geological Technology, or Geo-physical Technology from a recognized university in India.
- Geophysicist: M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics, M.Sc. (Geophysics), Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics), M.Sc. (Applied Geophysics), M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics), or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a recognized university.
- Chemist: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university.
Category II Posts – Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources
This category includes 2 posts in Group A positions:
- Junior Hydrogeologists (Scientist B): 2 Posts
Educational Qualifications for Category II
- Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or Hydro-geology from a recognized university.
Application Fee
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only). Payment can be made by:
- Depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash
- Using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, or State Bank of Travancore
- Using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card
