The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for recruitment across four prestigious academies. They’re looking for candidates for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy through the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2016.

The recruitment drive includes 457 posts across various academies. Here’s the breakdown:
- Indian Military Academy: 200 Posts
- Indian Naval Academy: 45 Posts
- Air Force Academy: 32 Posts
- Officers Training Academy (for Men): 175 Posts
- Officers Training Academy (for Women & Non-Tech): 05 Posts
Age Requirements for Each Post
Age limits vary by academy and post:
- Indian Military Academy: 19 to 24 Years
- Indian Naval Academy: 19 to 22 Years
- Air Force Academy: 19 to 23 Years
- Officers Training Academy (for Men): 19 to 25 Years
- Officers Training Academy (for Women & Non-Tech): 19 to 25 Years
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet specific educational criteria:
- IMA & OTA: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
- Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
- Air Force Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
Examination Fee
Candidates (except Female/SC/ST who are exempted) must pay a fee of Rs. 200/-. You can pay this amount by depositing cash in any SBI branch, using net banking, or through Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
