UPSC Announces CISF Assistant Commandant Recruitment Through LDCE 2026
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the recruitment notification for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2026. The examination is scheduled for March 8, 2026, in New Delhi, targeting 20 Assistant Commandant (Executive) positions in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Graduation degree from any recognized University to appear for this examination.
Age Criteria
Applicants should not have crossed 35 years as of August 1, 2026 (born not earlier than August 2, 1991). However, SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation.
Selection Process
The selection procedure includes four stages: UPSC CAPF AC written examination, Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests, Interview/Personality Test, and Final Selection based on merit.
Application Timeline
The online application process began on December 3, 2025, and will close at 6 PM on December 23, 2025. Only departmental employees of CISF, as specified by the Ministry of Home Affairs, are eligible to apply.
