Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Director:
- Masters Degree in Chemistry with specialization in Inorganic or Organic or Analytical Chemistry OR M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Soil Science or Agriculture Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute
- EXPERIENCE: Three years experience in analytical work in the field of fertilizers
- Assistant Director (Weed Science):
- M.Sc Degree in Agricultural (Agronomy) with specialization in Weed Science OR M.Sc Degree in Botany with Weed Science as a subject from a recognized University or Institution
- EXPERIENCE: Three years practical experience in the field of Weed Science or Weed Control
- DESIRABLE: Doctorate degree in Agronomy with specialization in Weed Science from a recognized University or Institution
- Research Officer (Implementation):
- Masters degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Masters degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level; OR Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level; OR Masters degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as a medium of an examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level
- Senior Grade of Indian Information Service:
- (i) Degree of a recognized University or Institute; (ii) Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication from a recognized University/Institution; or Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized University/Institution; (iii) Candidates must have studied concerned Indian language upto 10th Class. Note: Direct recruitment to posts in Senior Grade Indian Information Service Group B (Gazetted) shall be made language-wise. There shall be no category-wise/community-wise reservation for any of the languages.
- Two years experience of journalistic, publicity or public relation work in a Government Department/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Organization/News agency/Newspaper registered with the Registrar of Newspapers of India/any other Listed Private Organizations.
Age limit
- 35 years for Assistant Director / Assistant Director (Weed Science)
- 30 years for Research Officer (Implementation) / Senior Grade of Indian Information Service
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
Selection Process
- The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
