The University of Jammu has released a recruitment notification for 60 teaching positions. This is a great opportunity for qualified candidates to join one of Jammu’s premier educational institutions.
Available Positions
The recruitment drive includes 60 total posts distributed as follows:
- Professor: 23 posts
- Associate Professor: 16 posts
- Assistant Professor: 19 posts
- Director: 1 post
- Assistant Director: 1 post
Educational Qualifications
Each position has specific qualification requirements:
- Professor & Director: Eminent scholar with PhD in relevant discipline and published work of high quality. Minimum 10 publications as books or research/policy papers required.
- Associate Professor: Good academic record with PhD in relevant discipline. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Assistant Professor: Good academic record with at least 55% marks at Master’s level in relevant subject. NET/SET is mandatory minimum eligibility.
- Assistant Director: PhD in Gandhian Studies/Political Science/Peace Studies/Buddhist Studies/Philosophy. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
