United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC) has released the recruitment notification for UIIC Recruitment 2023. They’re hiring 100 Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Specialists across various disciplines. Online applications started on August 24, 2023, and will continue until September 14, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Legal Specialists: Bachelor’s degree in law with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or Master’s degree in law. 3 years’ experience as practicing lawyer (2 years for SC/ST) preferred. Must be registered with Bar Council of India.
  • Accounts/Finance Specialists: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) or B.Com. with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or M.Com. from recognized university.
  • Company Secretaries: Graduation with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC, 55% for SC/ST. Must have passed Final examination of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
  • Actuaries: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science or quantitative discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or Master’s degree in same fields.
  • Doctors: MBBS/BAMS/BHMS with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Must be registered with Indian Medical Association. MBBS internship completed on or before March 31, 2023.
  • Engineers: B.Tech/BE in Civil/Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics/ECE/Computer Science/IT/Information Science with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or M.Tech/ME in same disciplines.
  • Agriculture Specialists: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or Master’s degree in Agriculture.

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 21 years as on March 31, 2023
  • Maximum: 30 years as on March 31, 2023 (General category)

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1000/- (including services charges) + GST
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Permanent Employees: Rs. 250/- (services charges only) + GST

Selection Process

The selection process for all disciplines except doctors includes two stages:

  1. Online Examination
  2. Interview

  • Total Marks: 150
  • Duration: 2 Hours

    • Additional test for technical & professional knowledge – 25 Questions – 25 Marks
