Name of the Posts, Educational Qualification & Age Limit
- Clerk:
- Graduate: A Graduate Degree (Arts, Commerce & Science), other than Engineering category, with minimum of 55% marks
- Age: 24 years as on 30/11/2015
- Post Graduate: Post Graduate, from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations. [OR] An Engineering Graduate with 60% marks from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations.
- Age: 26 years as on 30/11/2015
- Deputy General Manager (DGM):
- Should be a Graduate in Law.
- DGM in Public / Private Sector Banks (OR) AGM in Public / Private Sector Banks with exceptional qualification / performance in Legal related functions.
- Age: 45 years
Examination Fee
For clerk positions only, candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 300.00 (Rs. 150.00 for SC / ST Candidates) via crossed demand draft drawn in favor of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. Payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin or Tirunelveli.

- For Clerk: Interested candidates can apply online through www.tmbnet.in. After submission of online application, hard copy of the application along with the Demand Draft / Pay Order and required enclosures (X and XII mark sheets) should be superscribed as “Application for Recruitment of Clerks 2015-16” and sent to the address below.
- For DGM: Interested candidates can apply on prescribed format with complete details of academic, professional qualification and experience along with self attested copies of relevant Testimonials / Documents should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of DGM (Legal)” and sent to the address below.
