SSC CPO SI 2020 Notification

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruiting Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Departmental candidates from Constables, Head Constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspector positions in Delhi Police with minimum three years of service and age not exceeding 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) as on the crucial date mentioned in Para 5.1 can also apply for Open and Departmental Vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent
  • Distance Learning degrees from Universities established by Parliament/State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities, and Institutions of National Importance are recognized if approved by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC
  • For Delhi Police SI posts, male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date of Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests

Age Limit

  • Age should be between 20 to 25 years as on 01-01-2021 (born between 02-01-1996 and 01-01-2001)

Application Fee

  • Rs.100/- (Women, SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen are exempted)

  • Physical Endurance Test:
    • Running: Male – 100 Metres in 16 Seconds, Female – 100 Meters in 18 Seconds
    • Shot Put: Male – 4.5 Meters in 03 Chances
    • Long Jump: Male – 3.65 Meters in 03 Chances, Female – 2.7 Meters in 03 Chances
    • High Jump: Male – 1.2 Meters in 03 Chances, Female – 0.9 Meters in 03 Chances
