SBI Recruitment 2025: Internal Ombudsman Position Open
State Bank of India (SBI) is currently recruiting candidates for the post of Internal Ombudsman (IO) on a contractual basis. Selected candidates will be posted at Mumbai and appointed for a tenure period of 03 years. The Internal Ombudsman position will not be eligible for re-appointment or further extension of term in the Bank.

Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates applying for SBI Recruitment 2025 must have Graduate in any discipline. Additionally, applicants should possess necessary skills and experience of minimum 07 years of working in areas such as Banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/or consumer protection.
Age Limit and Application Fee
The age limit for the assigned position should be below 65 years. As per the official SBI Recruitment 2025 notification, General/EWS/OBC candidates are required to pay an Application Fee of Rs.750 and no fees/intimation charges for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway available thereat. The payment can be made by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI etc. by providing information as asked on the screen.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on Shortlisting and Interviews. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling minimum experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Interaction: The interaction will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interaction will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Merit list: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interaction only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit list.
