State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI CBO recruitment 2021 notification to hire 1226 Circle Based Officers (CBO) across various SBI offices in India. The selection process will include an Online Test and Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government

Age Limit (as on 01/12/2021)

  • 21 to 30 years
  • Born not later than 01.12.2000 and not earlier than 02.12.1991 (both days inclusive)

Application Fee

  • ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates
  • Nil for SC/ST/PWD candidates

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed in Junior Management Grade Scale 1 (JMGS-I) with the following pay scale:

  • Basic pay: ₹36,000 with increment of ₹1,490 for 7 years
  • Next: ₹46,430 with annual increment of ₹1,740 for 2 years
  • Maximum basic salary: ₹63,840

Exam Pattern 2021

Test A: Objective Test (Online)

  • English Language: 30 Questions
  • Banking Knowledge: 40 Questions
  • General Awareness/Economy: 30 Questions
  • Computer Aptitude: 20 Questions

Test B: Descriptive Test (Online)

  • Letter Writing
  • Essay (250 words on banking related)

Total duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

  • No penalty for wrong answers in Objective Tests
  • Interview: 50 marks (minimum qualifying marks to be decided by the Bank)
