The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of South Central Railway (SCR) has released a notification for the recruitment of 4,232 apprentices for the 2024-25 session. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board and possess ITI Certificate in the notified trade from institutes recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- ITI Certificates issued by Institutes affiliated to NCVT/SCVT are compulsory in the relevant trades.
Age Limit
- Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and not completed 24 years of age as on the cut-off date (December 28, 2024).
Application Fee
- Rs. 100/- non-refundable through Net Banking of SBI, Internet Banking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or SBI UPI.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit list prepared by averaging percentage marks in both 10th Class/matriculation and ITI examination with equal weightage.
- In case of tie in marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred. If dates of birth are also same, the candidate who passed matriculation/10th Class exam earlier shall be considered.
- There will be no written test or viva.
