Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications from a recognized university:
- A degree in Food Technology, Dairy technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science, Bio-Chemistry, or Microbiology
- Masters Degree in Chemistry
- Degree in Medicine
- Any other equivalent/recognized qualification notified by the Central Government
Additionally, candidates must have successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or institution approved for the purpose. Note that there is no requirement for training prior to selection, as this training will be provided to selected candidates during the probation period.
Important: No person who has any financial interest in the manufacture, import, or sale of any article of food shall be appointed as Food Safety Officer under these rules.
Candidates must also have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01/01/2020.

- NC OBC / BC Candidates: 250/-
- Handicaps / SC / ST Candidates: 150/-
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on online/offline examination at Ajmer/Jaipur (tentative).
