PPSC Recruitment 2020: 544 Teaching Posts Available
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced a major recruitment drive for 544 positions. These include Principal, Head Master/Head Mistress, and Block Primary Education Officer roles across Punjab’s educational institutions.

- Principal: 158 Posts
- Head Master/Head Mistress: 311 Posts
- Block Primary Education Officer: 75 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Principal: B.Ed, PG (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engg) with relevant experience
- Head Master/Head Mistress: Graduation, B.Ed with Experience
- Block Primary Education Officer: Degree, Two years Elementary Teacher’s Training course, D.El.Ed or B.Ed with Experience
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 37 years old.
Application Fee
- For Other Categories: Rs. 500/- (Application Charges) + Rs. 2500/- (Exam Fee)
- For SC/ST of all states & BC of Punjab: Rs. 500/- (Application Charges) + Rs. 625/- (Exam Fee)
- PH of Punjab: Rs. 500/- (Application Charges) + Rs. 1250/- (Exam Fee)
- Ex-Servicemen of Punjab: Rs. 500/- (Application Charges)
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on a written examination.
