Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years
- Application Fee: Rs. 600 for general category, Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD
Educational Qualifications:
- Accounts: M.Com. with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others, or Chartered Accountants, or MBA (Finance) with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others
- Actuaries: Graduate with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others + 4 Actuarial Papers from IAI or IFoA
- Automobile Engineers: Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering with automobile engineering subject, with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others
- Legal: Graduate in Law with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others
- Medical Officer: MBBS
- Generalist: Graduate in any stream with 55% for SC/ST and 60% for Others
Selection Process
The selection happens in three phases:
- Phase I: Preliminary Examination – 100 marks, 1 hour duration
- Phase II: Main Examination – 200 marks objective + 30 marks descriptive
- Phase III: Interview – Weightage 80:20 for exam and interview
Exam Pattern
Phase I: 100 marks in 1 hour covering English (30), Reasoning (35), and Quantitative Aptitude (35)
Phase II (Generalists): 200 marks in 2 hours covering Reasoning (50), English (50), General Awareness (50), and Quantitative Aptitude (50)
Phase II (Specialists): 200 marks in 2 hours covering Reasoning (40), English (40), General Awareness (40), Quantitative Aptitude (40), and Professional Knowledge (40)
Descriptive Test: 30 minutes, 30 marks (Letter Writing – 10 marks, Essay – 20 marks)
