Educational Qualifications
Different positions require different educational backgrounds:
- Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (Diploma Holder): Three-year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. English must be studied at SSC or HSC level.
- Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (B.Sc. Holder): Full-time B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks. Options include Physics as principal subject with Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary, or Chemistry as principal subject with Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary, or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage. Mathematics at HSC level is essential. English must be studied at SSC or HSC level.
- Stipendiary Trainee Operator: HSC (10+2) or ISC with Science subjects, minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually. English required at SSC level.
- Stipendiary Trainee Maintainer: SSC (10 years) with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually, plus 2-year ITI certificate in Electrician/Fitter/Electronics/Instrumentation. Welders need 1-year ITI certificate and 1 year relevant work experience. English required at SSC level.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on written test and personal interview.
