Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. Additionally, candidates must possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. ITI Pass in the relevant trade is mandatory for consideration.
- Age Limit: 15 to 24 years
- Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (Non-Refundable)
Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit list prepared for all candidates who apply against this notification. The merit list will be prepared using the percentage of marks in matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) plus ITI marks in the trade for which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on the simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
For calculating matriculation marks percentage, marks obtained by candidates in all subjects will be considered, not based on marks of any specific subject or group of subjects. For ITI marks calculation, marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate will be taken into account.
