Account Officer (01 Post)
- Essential: A University degree in Commerce from a recognized University
- Desirable: 3 months ISTM Training in Cash & Accounts or SAS passed
- Age Limit: Below 45 years
Section Officer (01 Post)
- Essential: Graduate degree from a recognized University
- Desirable: Five years working experience as Ministerial Staff or equivalent in Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertaking
- Age Limit: Below 35 years
Office Assistant (01 Post)
- Essential: Graduate degree from a recognized University
- Desirable: Five years working experience as Ministerial Staff or equivalent in Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertaking
- Age Limit: Below 28 years
Library Information Assistant (01 Post)
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Institute
- Essential: Two years professional experience in a Library under Central Government/Autonomous or Statutory organization/PSU/University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution
- Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute
- Age Limit: Below 30 years
Stenographer (English) (03 Posts)
- Essential: 12th pass or equivalent
- Skill Requirement: Minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in shorthand and 40 w.p.m in typewriting corresponding to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word
- Age Limit: Below 25 years
Lower Division Clerk (03 Posts)
- Essential: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University
- Skill Requirement: Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer (35 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
- Age Limit: Below 27 years
Application Fee and Important Details
The application fee is Rs. 100/- payable through Demand Draft in favor of ‘Director, National Institute of Occupational Health’ payable at Ahmedabad. No fee is required for ST/SC/PH and all Women Candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process varies by post:
- For Account Officer: Selection will be based on competitive written examination or interview or both depending upon the number of candidates applied
- For Section Officer, Office Assistant, Library Information Assistant, Stenographer, and LDC: Selection will be made by conducting a competitive written test for eligible candidates after shortlisting those who fulfill the eligibility criteria
- For Stenographer and LDC: In addition to the written test, a qualifying skill test in shorthand/typing speed will be conducted for candidates who qualify in the written test. These skill tests will be qualifying only
