NHB Recruitment 2022: 27 Contract-Based Positions Open
National Housing Bank (NHB), Delhi has released its latest recruitment notification for 2022. The organization is hiring on a contract basis for 27 posts including Chief Economist, Protocol Officer, Dy. General Manager, Assistant Manager, Officers for Supervision, and Regional Manager.

Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Chief Economist: Master’s Degree in Economics with specialization in monetary economics or Econometrics. Minimum 15 years experience in Commercial Bank/FI/Rating Agencies/Government Bodies, with at least 10 years in Indian Economy and sectoral economy (preferably housing sector).
- Protocol Officer: Graduate in any discipline. Must be a retired officer from RBI/PSB/FI in India with Senior Management level experience. Minimum 25 years experience in RBI/PSB/FIs, with at least 5 years in Public Relations/Protocol Duty.
- Dy. General Manager (Scale – VI): Chartered Accountant with minimum 12 years post-qualification experience. Five years should be in overseeing financial operations in PSBs/AIFIs/Regulatory Bodies. Current post should be at Scale V in PSBs/Grade D in AIFIs/Regulatory Bodies.
- Assistant Manager (Scale I) – Generalist: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Chartered Accountant/CMA/Company Secretary qualifications are also acceptable.
- Assistant Manager (Scale I) – Hindi: Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Master’s Degree in Hindi with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) with English as main subject at degree level.
- Officers for Supervision: Graduate in any discipline. Grade C/D officers from RBI/NABARD/PSBs with supervision department experience OR Scale IV/V officers in PSBs with at least 10 years supervision experience, especially branch audit. Computer proficiency and MS Excel knowledge required. Power BI tools knowledge is desirable.
- Regional Manager (Scale IV) – Company Secretary: Graduate degree with ICSI membership. 5 years experience in Secretarial Compliances in Government/Public/Private Sector, with minimum 3 years at Manager level (Scale II equivalent) or similar roles in regulated Financial Institutions.
Age Limit (As on 01.10.2022)
- Assistant Manager (Scale-I): 21 – 30 Years
- Regional Manager (Scale-IV): 30 – 45 Years
- Dy. General Manager (Scale-VI): 40 – 45 Years
- Protocol Officer: 60 – 62 Years
- Officers for Supervision: 57 – 63 Years
- Chief Economist: 62 Years

- SC/ST/PwBD: Rs. 175/- (Intimation Charges only)

The selection process varies by post level:
- JMGS-I (Assistant Manager): Two-tier process – online examination and interview
- SMGS-IV (Regional Manager), TEGS-VI (Dy. General Manager), and Contractual Posts: Shortlisting and interview
