- Customer Relations Assistant: Science Graduate (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from a Government Recognized University/Institute. Age: 18 to 28 Years
- Jr. Engineer: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil) from a Government Recognized University/Institute. Age: 18 to 28 Years
- Maintainer: SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) in Fitter/Electrician/Electronics from a Government Recognized University/Institute. Age: 18 to 25 Years
Application Fee
The application fee varies by category:
- General/Un-Reserved: Rs.600/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax)
- SEBC/OBC: Rs.300/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax)
- SC/ST: Rs.150/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax)
Selection Process
The selection process includes multiple stages:
- Online test for eligible candidates meeting educational qualifications
- Personal Interview for those who qualify in the online test
Online Examination Pattern
The test structure varies by post:
- For Station Controller/Train Operator, Customer Relations Assistant & Junior Engineer:
- Total Duration: 135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes)
- Part-1 (90 minutes, 120 questions): Gujarati language (20 questions), Logical ability & Reasoning (50 questions), Quantitative aptitude (50 questions)
- Part-2 (45 minutes, 60 questions): General English (10 questions) and Technical Knowledge (50 questions)
- For Maintainers:
- Total Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Single part (105 questions): Technical Knowledge (50 questions), Gujarati language (20 questions), Logical ability & Reasoning (20 questions), Quantitative aptitude (5 questions), General English (10 questions)
