Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released an official notification for recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) and Assistant Engineers (AE) posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25 February 2020 to 15 March 2020.

  • Actuarial: 30 Posts
  • Legal: 40 Posts
  • Rajbhasha: 08 Posts
  • IT: 50 Posts

Assistant Engineers (AE) – 50 Posts

  • Civil: 29 Posts
  • Electrical: 10 Posts
  • Assistant Architect: 04 Posts
  • Structural: 04 Posts
  • Electrical/Mechanical – MEP Engineer: 03 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Various Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University (see details in official advertisement)

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years (completed) as on 01.02.2020
Maximum Age: 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1990 and not later than 01.02.1999)

Application Fee

  • General candidates: Rs. 700/- + GST + transaction charges
  • SC/ST/PWBD candidates: Rs. 85/- + GST + transaction charges

Selection Process

The selection process includes a three-tier examination followed by Pre-recruitment Medical examination:

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
  2. Phase-II: Main Examination
  3. Phase-III: Interview

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Before applying, ensure you have:

  • Scanned photograph and signature adhering to required specifications
  • Valid personal email ID and mobile number (must remain active throughout the recruitment process)

LIC will send call letters for examinations through the registered email ID. If you don’t have a valid email ID, create one before applying.

  • Online registration starts: 25 February 2020
  • Online registration closes: 15 March 2020
  • Last date for printing application: 30 March 2020
  • Call letter download: 27 March 2020 to 04 April 2020
  • Preliminary Examination: 4 April 2020 (tentative)
  • Main Examination: Dates to be announced later
