Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2016
Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is calling for online applications from eligible Indian citizens for contractual positions under two major urban development schemes. These roles are part of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM).

KMC has announced 12 total vacancies across various specialized roles. Here’s the complete list:
- Urban Infrastructure Specialist: 1 Post – Requires B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Urban Planner: 1 Post – Requires B Arch/B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Solid Waste Management Specialist: 1 Post – Requires B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Monitoring and Evaluations Specialist: 1 Post – Requires B.E. or B.Tech in any discipline with computer proficiency
- Manager Social Development and Infrastructure: 1 Post – Bachelor’s in Social Science (Social Work/Sociology/Economics/Management preferred)
- Manager Skill and Livelihoods: 1 Post – Bachelor’s in Social Science (Social Work/Sociology/Economics/Management preferred)
- Manager Financial Inclusion & Micro Enterprises: 1 Post – Bachelor’s in Social Science (Social Work/Sociology/Economics/Management preferred)
- Manager – MIS & ME: 1 Post – Bachelor’s in Computer Science
- Accountant: 1 Post – Bachelor’s in Commerce
- Dealing Assistant/DEO: 2 Posts – 10+2 in any discipline with at least 6 months basic computer course
- Multi Tasking Helper: 1 Post – Madhyamik or equivalent pass
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years old to be eligible for these positions.
Selection Process
All eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in interviews. No written test or other selection stages are mentioned.
