Available Positions:

• Marine Engineer: 04 Posts
• Requirements: First or Second Class BOT/ MOT certificate of competency as Marine Engineer (Motor) or combined
• Age: 40 years as on 01/12/2015
• Medical Officer: 01 Post
• Requirements: MBBS degree from a recognized University or for Medical Officer (Dental), BDS degree of a recognized university. One year experience in a hospital, after completion of internship of one year. A post graduate medical degree from a recognized university.
• Age: 35 years as on 01/12/2015
• Assistant Engineer (Dredger/Tug): 01 Post
• Requirements: Should have Engineer’s certificate of competency issued under the I.S.V. Act, 1917 OR Four years regular apprenticeship in Marine Engineering workshop recognized by the Ministry of Transport with 2 years experience as watch keeping Engineering in ocean going vessels OR 4 years experience as Engine room artificer or in higher post in the Indian Navy with 2 years experience as watch keeping engineer on ocean going vessels.
• Age: 40 years as on 01/12/2015
• Assistant Electrical Engineer (Floating Craft): 01 Post
• Requirements: Degree OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Experience in maintenance of Marine electrical installation for a period of 3 years in case of Degree holder and 5 years in case of Diploma holders OR Should have worked as Chief Electrical Artificer in Indian Navy.
• Age: 40 years as on 01/12/2015
• Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical): 01 Post
• Requirements: Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University/ Institution. Two years experience relevant discipline in Executive Cadre in an Industrial / Commercial / Government undertaking.
• Age: 30 years as on 01/12/2015
• Assistant Flotilla Supervisor: 04 Posts
• Requirements: Extensive marine experience of at least 7 years & capable of taking charges of floating craft Operation work and organization. Must have experience of controlling large staff. Must have good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Hindi desirable.
• Age: Between 20 years to 30 years as on 01/12/2015
• Driver Ist Class (Marine): 03 Posts
• Requirements: Ist Class Driver’s Certificate of Inland Steam or Diesel Vessels.
• Age: 40 years as on 01/12/2015
• Sr. Sanitary Inspector: 1 Post (UR)
• Requirements: Diploma in Sanitary Inspectors course with 5 years experience as Sanitary Inspector in Municipalities and preference will be given for working in Municipal Corporation and other Govt. or Semi Govt. organization.
• Age: Between 18 years to 28 years
• Traffic Outdoor Clerk: 10 Posts
• Requirements: Matriculate or equivalent qualification.
• Age: Between 18 years to 25 years
• Assistant Outdoor Clerk: 5 Posts
• Requirements: SSC
• Age: Between 18 years to 25 years
• Laboratory Technician: 1 Post
• Requirements: B.SC Diploma in Clinical Laboratory Technique with one year experience OR Inter Science. Diploma in Clinical Laboratory technique with three years experience.
• Age: Below 30 years
• Signalman: 2 Posts
• Requirements: XIIth pass. Complete knowledge of International Code. Should be able to receive and send messages b+G98y mores and semaphore at the rate of 8 and 12 words per minute respectively.
• Age: Between 19 years to 25 years
• Jr. Engineer (Civil): 2 Posts
• Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years experience.
• Age: Between 18 years to 28 years
• Jr. Engineer (Mechanical) Gr-I: 3 Posts
• Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years experience.
• Age: Between 18 years to 28 years
• Jr. Engineer (Mechanical): 2 Posts
• Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mech. Engineering with 3 years experience.
• Age: Between 18 years to 25 years
• Clerk-cum-Time keeper: 1 Post (UR)
• Requirements: Matriculate with at least 3 years experience as a Clerk.
• Age: Between 18 years to 25 years
• Diesel Mechanic: 2 Posts
• Requirements: ITI in Trade of Mechanic. Should have worked for five years on repairs and maintenance of Diesel Engines. Passing of Trade Test.
• Age: Below 30 years
• Crane Diver (Upgraded): 1 Posts
• Requirements: Shall be XIIth Std. pass and experience in operation of 15 tonnes and above Cranes for a minimum period of 5 years. Mobile Cranes above 3 ½ tonnes and up to 15 tonnes and Forklifts above 3 ½ tonnes.
• Age: Below 35 years
• Welder: 2 Posts
• Requirements: Should have passed SSC and Certificate of ITI of recognized Institute in the trade of welding and having 3 years experience in heavy workshop in welding works.
• Age: Between 18 years to 28 years
• Machinist: 1 Post
• Requirements: Minimum experience of 3 years in a workshop for Mechanism viz. Shapping, Stolling / Planning / Sawing / Screw letting etc.
• Age: Below 30 years

Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on written test / interview. Written Test may be conducted, if necessary, before the interview and the candidates who pass the test will only be allowed to appear in the Personal interview.
