Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Assam Oil Division has announced recruitment for 35 Technician Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973.
Available Positions
The recruitment covers three disciplines with a total of 35 vacancies:
- Chemical: 10 posts
- Mechanical: 10 posts
- Electrical: 15 posts
Educational Requirements
Candidates must have completed a 3-year full-time regular or Sandwich Diploma course in the respective discipline:
- Chemical Engineering: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 24 years as of 31/07/2016.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 7560/- per month.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
- Written test (85% weightage)
- Personal interview (15% weightage)
The written test will be conducted for two hours.
