The Indian Postal Circle (IPC) has released an official notification for recruiting 4166 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts across Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Haryana. These positions include Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Dav Sevak roles.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution (see details in official advertisement)
Age Limit
- 18 to 40 years as on 08.06.2020
Application Fee
- UR/OBC/EWS Male/trans-man candidates: Rs.100 per set of five options
- Exempted for: Female/trans-woman candidates, SC/ST candidates, and PwD candidates
Selection Process
- Selection based on automatically generated merit list
- No weightage for higher educational qualifications
- Only 10th standard marks considered (aggregated to percentage with 4 decimal accuracy)
- Passing all subjects as per board norms is mandatory
- Applications with grades only will be disqualified
- Grades/points converted using multiplication factor (9.5) against maximum points/grade as 100
