Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Recruitment 2017
The Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) is looking for talented male candidates to fill the post of Yantrik for the 01/2017 batch. This is a great opportunity for those with a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- along with Rs.2400/- Grade pay. The recruitment process involves written tests, physical efficiency tests, and a medical examination.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: You need to have Matriculation or equivalent, plus a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). You must have scored 60% in aggregate.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 22 years old (born between 01 February, 1995 to 31 January, 1999).
Relaxation in Cut-off: A 5% relaxation in the minimum cut-off is available for outstanding sports persons of National level who secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position in Open National Championship or Interstate National Championship. This relaxation also applies to wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel who died while in service.
