Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from COBSE recognized board
- Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from COBSE recognized board
Age Limit
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years
- Born between 01 Sep 2001 to 31 Aug 2005 (both dates inclusive)
Application Fee
- Rs. 300 for all candidates except SC/ST (exempted)
- Pay through online mode using net banking or Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI
Selection Process
The selection includes four stages:
- Written Exam
- Physical Fitness Test (Qualifying)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Exam Pattern
- Type: Objective Type (MCQs)
- Level: Up to Class 12 Standard
- Subjects: Mathematics, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning, General Awareness, General Sciences
- Section I: 60 marks, 45 minutes, 60 questions
- Section II: 50 marks, 30 minutes, 50 questions
Medical Standards
- Minimum height: 157 cms
- Height reduction: 5 cms for candidates from Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Garhwal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- Height reduction: 2 cms for Lakshadweep candidates
- Chest: Well proportioned, minimum expansion 5 cms
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age (+10 percentage acceptable)
- Hearing: Normal
Physical Fitness Test Criteria
- 1.6 Km Run in 7 Minutes
- Squat ups (Uthak baithak): 20
- Push-Ups: 10
