Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Soldier General Duty: Minimum SSLC/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualifications, but minimum 33% in each subject in SSLC/Matric is required.
- Soldier Technical: Minimum 10+2/intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English aggregate with 40% in each subject and 50% marks in each subject.
- Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner): Minimum 10+2/intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English aggregate with 40% in each subject and 50% marks in each subject OR Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Automobile/Computer Science/Electronic & Instrumentation).
- Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary: Minimum 10+2/intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English aggregate with 40% in each subject and 50% marks in each subject OR B.Sc Degree with (Botany/Zoology/Bio-Science) and English (percentage in class 12th waived off, but candidate should have studied all four specified subjects in class 12th).
- Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management: Minimum 10+2/intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English aggregate with 40% in each subject and 50% marks in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in class 10th or class 12th with 50% marks in each subject.
- Soldier Tradesman: 10th/ITI (except secy, Mess Keeper and House Keeper, who may be 8th pass).
- Sepoy Pharma: 10+2 or equivalent exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Qualified in D Pharma with min 55% marks in aggregate and registered with State Pharmaceutical Council/Pharmacy Council of India. B Pharma candidates with min 50% marks and registered with State Pharmaceutical Council/Pharmacy Council of India are also eligible.

- Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm (from inside of elbow to wrist) and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoo on any other part of body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further Screening if detected at any stage.
