Indian Airforce Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2023 Notification Out
Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Air Force Agniveer Notification 2023 for Agniveer Vayu Intake 1/2024 on 11th July 2023. The notification includes all essential details published in the employment newspaper.
Indian Agniveer candidates will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under the Air Force Act 1950 for a period of four years.
The Air Force Agniveer Application Online link will be available from 27th July 2023 at https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in/.

IAF Agneepath Scheme Eligibility Criteria 2023
IAF Agneepath Scheme Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet specific educational requirements with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Science Subjects:
- Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a COBSE member Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
- OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
- OR Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards / Councils listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
Other than Science Subjects:
- Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
- OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
Important Notes:
- Candidates eligible for Science Subjects examination are also eligible for Other than Science Subjects and can choose appearing in both examinations
- Only Education Boards listed in COBSE website (cobse.org.in) as members as on date of registration shall be considered
- Exact aggregate Percentage of marks before decimal as written in marks sheet shall be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not rounded off to 50%)
IAF Agneepath Scheme 2023 Age Limit
- Candidate born between 27 June 2003 and 27 December 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply
IAF Agneepath Scheme 2023 Application Fee
- Examination fee of Rs.250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination
- Payment can be made using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through payment gateway
- Examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch
IAF Agneepath Scheme 2023 Selection Process
There will be 6 steps in the selection process:
- Written Exam
- CASB (Central Airmen Selection Board) test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Adaptability Test-I and Test-II
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
