Eligibility Criteria – Know Where You Stand

Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 Requirements

You’re eligible if you’ve passed your Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English. You need minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Alternatively, a three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) with 50% marks works too. Or if you’ve completed a two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics, that’s also acceptable.

For non-Science stream candidates, any Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English qualifies you.

Airmen Group Y (Medical Assistant) Requirements

This track requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in your 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. You can also qualify with a two-year Vocational Course in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. If you have a Diploma/B. Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy, you need the same 10+2 qualifications plus valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India at enrollment time.

Age Limits Matter

For Agniveervayu: Born between July 1, 2005, and January 1, 2010 (inclusive).

For Airmen Group Y: Varies by category – 10+2 holders up to 21 years, Diploma holders up to 24 years.
