The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has released an official notification for recruitment across three positions: Project Assistant, Junior Research Fellow, and Post-Doctoral Fellow.

- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Mechanical Engineering
- Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) – Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences
- Project Assistant (PA) – Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- JRF (Mechanical Engineering): M.Tech/M.E. in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical Engineering or allied areas with specialization in robotics or control systems from a reputed institute or university.
- PDF (Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences): PhD degree in any science discipline, with experience in working with neural data analysis preferred.
- PA (Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences): Any master’s degree in science or bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering with demonstrated hands-on experience in microcontrollers, 3D printers, laser cutter etc. Demonstrated knowledge of programming and data analysis in MATLAB/Python. Knowledge of neuroscience/cognitive science preferred, not necessary.
Selection Process
For PDF and PA positions, shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
