Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications based on their applied post:
- IT Officer: 4-year Engineering/Technology degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields, OR Post Graduate degree in Electronics/Computer Science, OR DOEACC ‘B’ level qualification.
- Agricultural Field Officer: 4-year degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Agri Engineering, Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agri Marketing & Cooperation, Co-operation & Banking, or AgroForestry.
- Rajbhasha Adhikari: Post Graduate degree in Hindi with English OR Post Graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi.
- Law Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with Bar Council enrollment.
- HR/Personnel Officer: Graduate with Post Graduate degree or diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/HR/HRD/Social Work/Labour Law.
- Marketing Officer: Graduate with MMS/MBA in Marketing or 2-year PGDBA/PGDBM with Marketing specialization.
Age Limit: 20 to 30 years (as on 01/11/2017)
Application Fee
Rs. 600/- for general candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Bank transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate.
Selection Process
Final selection is based on written examination followed by interview.
Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam (Objective)
- Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari: Composite time of 2 hours
- English Language: 50 questions, 25 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 50 questions, 50 marks
- General Awareness with Banking Industry: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Total: 150 questions, 125 marks
- IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer: Composite time of 2 hours
- English Language: 50 questions, 25 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Total: 150 questions, 125 marks
Candidates must qualify in each section by securing minimum cut-off marks decided by IBPS. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Online Main Examination.
Main Examination
Law Officer, IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer:
- Professional Knowledge: 60 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
Rajbhasha Adhikari:
- Professional Knowledge: 45 objective questions + 2 descriptive questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
Penalty for Wrong Answers: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer in objective tests. No penalty for unattempted questions.
