IBPS RRB Notification 2023 Released
The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has released the notification on May 31 for recruiting 8612 posts in Officers (Scale I, Scale II, and Scale III) and Office Assistants across all participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in the country. The IBPS RRB Online application process starts on June 1, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India. Preference will be given to candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy; Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s*
- Officer Scale II General Banking Officer: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to candidates having degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
- Officer Scale II Information Technology Officer: Bachelor Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with At Least 50% Minimum Marks and 1 Year Post Experience.
- Officer Scale II Chartered Accountant: Passed C.A. Examination from ICAI India and One Year Experience as a CA.
- Officer Scale II Law Officer: Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) with Minimum 50% Marks and 2 Year Advocacy Experience.
- Treasury Officer Scale II: Degree in CA OR MBA Finance with One Year Post Experience.
- Marketing Officer Scale II: Master of Business MBA Degree in Marketing Trade with 1 Year Experience in Recognized Sector.
- Agriculture Officer Scale II: Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal/ Veterinary Science/ Engineering/ Pisciculture from Any Recognized University in India with 2 Year Experience.
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Minimum 50% Marks with Minimum 5 Year Post Experience.
Experience
- Office Assistant – No Experience
- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) – No Experience
- Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)- Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution formation Technology Officer – 1-year in the relevant field
- Chartered Accountant -1year (in the relevant field).
- Law Officer – Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years.
- Treasury Manager – 1-year in the relevant field
- Marketing Officer – 1-year in the relevant field
- Agricultural Officer – Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- CA – One Year as a Chartered Accountant.
Age limit (As on 01.06.2023)
- Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
- Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
- Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)
