IBPS PO Recruitment 2022: 6432 Vacancies Open for Probationary Officers
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the PO 2022 notification for 6432 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee positions across 11 public sector banks in India. This marks the 12th edition of the IBPS PO exam since its inception in 2011.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate that he/she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years (i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both dates inclusive))
Application Fee
- Rs. 850/- for all others & Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.

- Selection process will be based on Online Preliminary Examination, Main Examination & Personal Interview.

Negative Marking in IBPS Probationary Officer/Management Recruitment
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
Cut off Score for IBPS Recruitment 2022
- Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
