IB ACIO Recruitment 2022: 150 Posts Available
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released an official notification for recruiting Assistant Central Intelligence Officers Examination (IB ACIO, Grade-2). This annual competitive exam fills non-gazette, non-clerical Group C positions at the Intelligence Bureau.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have either:
- Valid GATE Score 2020, 2021 & 2022 in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized University
- OR Masters Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science
- OR Masters Degree in Computer Applications from a recognized University
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years old.
Selection Process
The selection process involves multiple stages:
- Candidates will be called for an Interview Process in Delhi based on their GATE Examination Scorecard from 2020, 2021 & 2022
- The IB will call 10 times the number of vacancies mentioned in the official notification
- Candidates can choose to submit their GATE Scorecard marks from any one of the mentioned years
- The interview date and time will be sent to candidates’ official email IDs after registration
- Final merit list is prepared based on the combined score of GATE, Interview, and Psychometric Test
