Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should possess a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in:
    • Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Economics or Applied Economics or Commercial Economics or Econometrics or Mathematics or Commercial Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Advanced Statistics.
    • The degree should be from a university or educational institution established under an Act of Parliament or UGC.
    • Proficiency in computer skills as per the Gujarat Civil Service Computer Efficiency (Training and Examination) Rules-2006 is required.
    • Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages is necessary.
  • The recruitment rules’ educational qualifications for all mentioned cadres are outlined in the application form for GSSSB Research & Statistical Assistant Recruitment 2024.
  • During the final selection for GSSSB Research & Statistical Assistant Recruitment 2024, all educational qualifications specified in the recruitment rules will be considered.
  • The upper age limit for each cadre is determined by Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules-1967, along with relevant resolutions from the general administration department.
