GSSSB AAE Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must meet specific educational and age requirements to be eligible.
- Qualification:
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Examination Board, University, or Institution in India.
- Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government are also acceptable.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering are not eligible.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years as on May 27, 2025.
GSSSB AAE (Civil) Application Fee
- Rs. 500/- for General Category.
- Rs. 400/- for Female, OBC, SC, ST, Divyang, and Ex-Servicemen.
- The fee is refundable for candidates who appear for the examination.
GSSSB AAE (Civil) Selection Process
The selection will be based on a competitive examination.
- Exam Type: Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) using OMR sheets.
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Structure: The exam has two parts:
- Part-A: 60 Questions
- Part-B: 150 Questions
- Total Questions: 210
- Duration: 3 hours
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
