Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
You must meet these requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Bio-chemistry, or Biotechnology from a recognized university in India
- OR Diploma in Laboratory Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Laboratory Technology, or P.G. diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- OR one-year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course or Laboratory Technician Training Course from a government-recognized institute
- Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Age Limit
You must not be more than 37 years old as of 20/01/2022.
Application Fee
Rs.100/- plus Rs.12/- for postal charges.
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on a written examination.
Exam Pattern
- Total Time: 90 minutes
- Total Marks: 100
- One question paper
- Negative marking of -0.33 for wrong answers, blank answers, or multiple option answers

- General Awareness and General Knowledge: 35 marks (Gujarati Medium)
- Gujarati Language and Grammar: 20 marks (Gujarati Medium)
- English Language and Grammar: 20 marks (English Medium)
- Technical Knowledge: 75 marks (English Medium)
