Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Candidates must possess a degree in Engineering (Civil) from any University or institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India. Basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 is required. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both is necessary.
Geologist
Applicants need a post graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-technical Engineering from any University established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India. Basic knowledge of Computer Application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi are required.
Joint Technical Advisor (P.I.)
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with first class (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology) from any University established by law in India. A post-graduate degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology) or Master’s Degree in Business Administration is also required.
Technical Advisor (Chemicals)
Applicants need a Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Petro-Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from any University established by law in India. Alternatively, an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry (after Graduation in B.Sc. Engineering) from IIT is acceptable.
Project Manager
Candidates must have at least Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology except Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Rural Management or Entrepreneurship Development from any University established by law in India.
Social Welfare Officer
Applicants need a Post Graduate degree with Social Work or Rural Study or Rural Management or Sociology or a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from any University established by law in India.
Town Planner
Candidates must possess a degree in Architecture or Civil engineering from a University established by law in India. A post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in City planning or Town planning or Traffic and Transportation planning or Regional planning or Urban Design is required.
Assistant Director of Horticulture / Specialist
Applicants need a Second Class Master degree in any branch of Horticulture or Second Class bachelor’s degree in any branch of Horticulture with about three years exclusive or combined experience in Horticultural Research or Horticultural Extension Service or Horticultural Education or Horticultural Engineering.
Assistant Controller Legal Size Science / Consumer Protection Officer
Candidates must possess a Second Class degree in Physics as a Principal subject or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Electronics Engineering or Chemical Technology from any University established by law in India.
