Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has announced recruitment for Research Associate & Co-ordinator positions on a contract basis. Eligible candidates can apply for these positions before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Research Associate (GNLU-Microsoft IPR Chair):
    • Essential Criteria:
      • Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian University or accredited foreign university
      • Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in IPR
      • Ability to conceptualize and organize international training workshops and brainstorming online/on-site discussions apart from teaching/Research
    • Highly desirable:
      • Specialisation in IPR
      • Experience in teaching/research in premier law universities/colleges
      • National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET
      • Excellent inter-personal and team-building skills
      • Ability to innovate and improve academic programmes or services
  • Research Associate (GNLU-GUJCOST IPR Chair):
    • Essential Criteria:
      • Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks from an Indian University or accredited foreign university

  • Co-ordinator
    • Essentials
      • A distinguished scholar, researcher or practitioner having more than 5 years of relevant experience, preferably having doctorate in the same or connected subject
      • Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in Ethics in the Legal Profession
      • Ability to conceptualize and organize international training workshops and brainstorming online/on-site discussions apart from teaching/Research
      • Fluency in English language
    • Desirable
      • Experience in working with international Ethics in Legal Profession policy, research and/or advocacy agencies, law firms, corporate house, relevant governmental agencies/departments
      • International exposure and outlook to Ethics in the Legal Profession
      • Experience of research projects in the field of ethics in the legal profession and/or Research contribution in relevant area

Selection Process

Final Selection will be based on personal interview.
