The Gujarat Ecology Commission (GEC) has announced exciting career opportunities under their World Bank aided project titled “Integrated Coastal Zone Management” based in Gandhinagar. This recruitment drive seeks talented professionals to join their State Project Management Unit.
Available Positions
Five positions are available across different specializations:
- Project Officer (Ecology) – 1 position
- Required: M.Sc with 3 years of experience in research projects related to Ecology, Environment Management, and ecological projects
- Project Officer (Marine Biology) – 1 position
- Required: M.Sc with 3 years of experience in Marine Biology, preferably with working experience in coastal areas
- Project Officer (Environmental Studies) – 1 position
- Required: M.Sc with 3 years of experience in Environmental Science
- Communication Assistant – 1 position
- Required: Master’s degree in Development Communication/Journalism with 1-3 years of experience in communication, journalism, or related fields
- Must have ability to work in Gujarati
- Graphic Designer – 1 position
- Required: Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design with 1-3 years of experience
- Must know designing software including CorelDraw, Photoshop, Pagemaker
- Knowledge of AI is an added advantage
- Experience with communication materials used in rural/urban areas is preferred
Compensation & Application Details
The Cost to Company stands at Rs. 25,000/- per month.
