• Asstt. Engg. (Electrical) in MCD:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent
• Asstt. Engg. (Civil) in MCD:
• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent
• Junior Engineer (Civil) in MCD:
• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent. OR,
• Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent and 
• Two years professional experience as Civil Engineer counted from the date of completion of the qualifying Diploma Examination.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) in MCD:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent. OR,
• Diploma in Electrical engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent and
• Two years professional experience as Electrical Engineer counted from the date of completion of the qualifying Diploma Examination.
• Junior Engineer (Civil) in NDMC:
• Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Junior Engineer (Civil) in DUSIB:
• Diploma holding in Civil engineering with two years experience OR
• Graduate in Civil Engineering.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) in DUSIB:
• Diploma holding in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with two years experience. OR
• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical engineering

• The selection shall be made through One Tier and Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test, wherever applicable.
