Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprenticeship Trainees: A degree in engineering or technology granted by statutory University/by an institution empowered to award such degree by an Act of Parliament.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Trainee: A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/by a University/by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma/ Sandwich course student undergoing training to hold a diploma in Engg./Technology.
- Note:
- Duration of training follows Apprenticeship Rule and amendments.
- Registration of BE/B.Tech/Diploma candidates on www.mh.rdnats.gov.in is mandatory.
- Registration number must be verified during selection/Document Verification.
- Candidates who completed three years after passing qualifying examination are not eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible.
- Only regular candidates who completed qualifying examination are eligible.
Age limit (As on November, 2021)
- 18 to 27 years
Stipend
- Candidates selected for apprenticeship training receive stipend as per Govt. of India rules:
- B.E/B.Tech/Equivalent: Rs 9000/- per month
- Diploma: Rs 8000/- per month
Medical Fitness
- Candidates must possess satisfactory health. Selected candidates must produce fitness Certificate as per CAIR specified format during joining issued by authorized Medical officer of any Govt Hospital. Certificate issued by ESIC hospitals will not be accepted. Final selection depends on fulfilling health standards as prescribed in Apprentice Act, 1961 and apprentice Rule 1992.
Selection Process
- Selection carried out by short listing based on marks obtained in qualifying exam, depending on vacancies in various disciplines.
