CISF Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 1161 Constable Tradesman Posts
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of 1161 Constable Tradesmen. Applications started on 05 March 2025 and will close on 03 April 2025. Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years as of 01 August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For skilled trades, candidates must have passed matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent from a recognised board before the application closing date.
- For unskilled trades, candidates must have matriculation or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be between 18 to 23 years as of August 1, 2025.
Application Fee
- Rs 100 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates.
- Exempted for female candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen.
- The fee must be paid online.
Selection Process
The selection process involves 4 to 5 stages: physical test + Written exam CBT + document verification + medical exam + joining.

- Login to the portal using your registration number and password
- Now select the post you are applying for.
- Fill the CISF Constable Tradesman Online Form application form carefully and upload all required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Click on submit button.
- Take a print out of the CISF Constable Tradesman 2025 online form for future use.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Candidates who qualify Physical Standard Test (PST) will undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- For Male candidates: 1.6 Kms race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- For Female candidates: 800 mtrs in 4 minutes

Exam Pattern
- Objective-type question paper to be answered on an OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration containing 100 questions on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Knowledge of elementary mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, and to test the basic knowledge of the candidate in Hindi/English. The questions will be set bilingual in English/Hindi. There shall be no negative marking.
- Minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:
- UR/EWS/Ex. Servicemen: 35%
- SC/ST/OBC: 33%
CISF Tradesman Trade Test
- Cook: Cooking of Chapati & Rice, Cooking of Meat/Fish/Egg/Kheer and Cooking of vegetable/Dal/Samber/Idli etc.
- Boot Maker/Cobbler: Polishing of shoes, Handling of tools and Cutting of leather repair & stitching of Shoes
- Tailor: Taking measurement of personnel, Cutting of cloths and Stitching of Uniforms
- Barber: Handling of tools, Hair Cutting and Shaving
- Washer Man: Washing of clothes, Ironing of Khaki Cotton Uniform, Ironing of woolen and Terry cotton Uniforms
- Sweeper: Sweeping, Cleaning of toilets and Cleaning of Bathrooms etc.
- Painter: Knowledge of colours, paints and shades, Painting of sign-boards and Painting/drawing
- Mason: Preparation of ‘Mashala’, Mason/Construction work, Plastering work and Laying down floor tiles & plastering floor
- Plumber: To lay pipe line, Repair of water pipe line and Fitting of Taps, Geyser, Flush & Wash Basin
- Mali: Plantations and making grafts, Maintenance of plants, Knowledge of indigenous manures, Knowledge of seeds & their sowing season and Fertilizers in seetideseeti
